Happy New Year!

While many people make New Years’ resolutions surrounding their personal health, your vehicle’s health may not have crossed your mind. What you might not realize is that by staying on top of regular vehicle maintenance, you ultimately end up keeping more money in your pocket. Ignoring regular maintenance means more avoidable wear-and-tear on your vehicle and its consumables, and the potential for a large repair bill your weren’t anticipating.

Here are some regular maintenance items to keep on top of:

·        Oil and oil filter changes

·        Tire inflation, rotation and balance

·        Fluid levels, including brake, transmission, coolant and washer fluids

·        Belts and hoses (visual inspection)

Taking your vehicle in for regular maintenance also means you’re less likely to be surprises by an unfortunate repair bill because it’s getting looked over by your mechanic.
